A FEW THINGS YOU MUST KNOW

  • Texas has approved the use of online courses since 2017. You can find more info on the Texas DPS website here:

  • Be careful of industry scams Some courses are NOT actual Texas LTC. They may be from a state that Texas has Reciprocity with, but you are subject to out of state fee’s and additional application fee’s through them. Our course is for an actual Texas License To Carry
  • TX LTC Online Courses have their own certification process. LTC Instructors MUST be approved through TX DPS and certified as an Online Provider. We have that certificate!!

The Texas LTC Online Course is brought to you by S2 Strategic Defense. Our team members are training providers working with law enforcement, corporate safety teams, and civilian groups. Our courses and seminars include topics such as unarmed self defense, edged and impact weapons, firearms, ground control, force on force training, defensive pistol or carbine, and several others. Texas Gun Laws

As a law abiding citizen with a firearm, you will need to know Texas Gun Laws that spell out when and where you can carry your firearm. Our course will go thru each law in detail and teach you exactly what you need to know about being lawful with your firearm, who can or cannot have a firearm, restricted locations, and much more. Texas Gun Laws are very clear about this kind of information, and it is YOUR responsibility to know them clearly.

Texas Carry Laws

Aside from just the basics of gun laws, you will also learn about Texas Carry Laws. This means we will discuss open carry vs concealed carry, holster requirements, restricted locations, having a firearm in your home, vehicle or at work, and we will give you some real world experience as it relates to the legalities of Texas Carry Laws.

Texas Self Defense Laws

Texas Self Defense and Use of Force Laws will dictate whether or not your actions in self defense encounter are lawful or not. These make the difference between your freedom or criminal prosecution. We will go through all of the Texas Self Defense laws along with Use of Force, Use of Deadly Force, Conflict Resolution and much more. Do not take these for granted!
